Early Years SEN Advisory Team

Also known as: Advisory, EY SEN, Portage, SEN Inclusion

Service Description: The special educational needs (SEN) early support advisory team are able to provide advice and information to early years settings, to give further information on how the setting might meet the needs of a child with a special educational need or disability (SEND). The early support team also provide a service to families with children with SEND called portage.

Portage is a home-based education service for the parents of babies and pre-school children with a range of severe and complex learning or physical needs.
