Posterboards

Service Description: The Council has a number of posterboards across the Island (currently 32). Those wishing to use the boards to promote events must be non-profit-making organisations (charities, carnivals, amateur clubs etc). They are not for use by commercial business.

The service is run for the council by Andrew Woodford who can be contacted on 07976 828 462. He arranges putting up and taking down of posters and charges per poster and maintains a diary of all posters displayed.

Each event can have a maximum of 32 posters over a two week period.

Other poster boards are in place around the island (Brading, East Cowes, Fishbourne, Freshwater and Ventnor) but these are managed by the respective town and parish councils.
