Introduction

The main function of the Planning Policy team is to evaluate the potential for change and produce policy based plans and strategies to guide future change, provide certainty for all those with an interest in the Island’s future, secure sustainable development and achieve regeneration. The Island Plan (the Isle of Wight's Local Development Framework) provides the basis on which planning decisions are made.
