An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and professional team to assist the Payroll team, in particular coordinating and undertaking Payroll services for a number of Schools on the Isle of Wight.
Duties will include.
- Pay input and running of Monthly Payroll
- Collecting, validating, and processing large volumes of information to ensure a smooth payroll service
- Providing advice to managers on matters such as salary sacrifice schemes and shared parental leave
- Manual calculations of Pay, Tax & NI
- Understanding local Terms and Conditions & Policies
- Understanding National Statutory Pay Regulations
- Helping on Testing Processes and expected pay outcomes
If successful, you’ll be essential in ensuring the correct payment of salary and statutory and voluntary deductions. It is vital that this work is carried out accurately and effectively so applicants will need to demonstrate the following;
- Excellent word processing and numeracy skills
- Strong verbal communication skills – able to liaise at all levels
- Demonstrable Team working skills
- A good eye for detail and a meticulous approach to workloads
- Ability to manage work assigned
- The ability to work to strict deadlines in a high performance driven environment
Due to an increased provision for Schools payroll now being required, previous experience of working in a Payroll environment and with SAP is essential.
A minimum qualification of A Levels / NVQ Level 3 Business & Administration / or equivalent are required.
