An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Rates team to appoint a trainee visiting officer as a career graded development role.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our high achieving Revenues Team who are responsible for all aspects of visits on behalf of both Council Tax and Business Rates ensuring the information obtained is accurate and well documented as well as having an enquiring mind to support the process back to the Revenues officers processing the work.
As part of this busy team, you will need to be proficient with ICT, a fantastic communicator with good negotiation skills, highly organised and have a keen eye for detail. You should have the ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of good customer service, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work effectively within a team.
Dependent on previous experience and/or qualifications, you will be expected to undertake the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship or the Level 4 Revenues and Welfare Benefits Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship:
Working days are Monday through to Friday for 37 hours a week.
