Hours: 25 per week

We are looking for a lawyer with a good working knowledge of civil procedure and employment law to join a small but supportive Litigation Legal Team.

The caseload will include advice to internal departments and civil advocacy on behalf of the council.  The successful candidate will be able to handle a busy caseload with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience of a full range of debt recovery to enforcement and some experience in employment law. 

You will be a qualified Chartered Legal Executive, Solicitor, or Barrister. 

Knowledge of the civil procedure rules is essential as the post holder should be able to provide immediate effective support. Previous local authority experience would be an advantage
