Teacher - English and Maths to GCSE

The Island Learning Centre is a pupil referral unit that supports some of the most vulnerable young people on the island. An exciting opportunity now exists to join our highly inclusive school.

You will work as part of a multi-skilled team supporting access to a range of educational opportunities for our students both in the Island Learning Centre (ILC) and at other offsite venues, working towards reintegration into mainstream schools or with other alternative providers.

You will be predominantly working as an outreach teacher in student homes, teaching maths and English to GCSE level.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, creative individual who has high expectations of all children and what they can achieve. If you want to make a difference to children’s lives, are enthusiastic and emotionally resilient then we want to hear from you. We can offer you a dedicated staff team and opportunities for excellent personal and career development.
