We are looking for the right person to join our friendly, supportive, dynamic, go-getting team as a Commissioning Assistant for a fixed term period of 18 months.  Working as an integral part of our team you will really be able to make a difference.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a knowledge of adult social care who wishes to be part of commissioning and quality assuring the avenues of support that meet the needs of our most vulnerable island residents working with them to ensure we have the right services in the right place at the right time.

This role requires exceptional communication and analytical skills.  You will be able to write reports and have experience of working with computer systems.  You will be a good communicator with the ability to develop and maintain positive, proactive working relationships with provider organisations as well as with other stakeholders including, social care, voluntary sector, health partners and most importantly our island residents working together to co-design and co-produce outcome focussed solutions.

You will be supporting our commissioners and will also hold your own portfolio of work which will be based around supporting family carers.  You will receive regular 1-1 supervision, have support from your line manager and attend regular team meetings.  There will also be opportunities for training to support your professional development.

As a team, we strongly believe in and apply the following principles:

•           We see the potential in all people and work with their strengths seeing people not labels

•           We listen, learn and respond through co-production
