Contract Type: Fixed Term for 2 years
Hours: 37 per week
We are seeking to recruit a Business Support Assistant to join our busy Operational Support Team dealing with a range of administration responsibilities.
The role will be office based and include on the job training, tasks will include;
· processing internal and external post
· scanning & indexing correspondence and invoices
· monitoring the council’s utility bills
· liaising with utility companies to resolve queries.
· dealing with non-compliant invoices prior to payment
· entering information onto the council's database.
The successful applicant will be confident, well organised and proactive and have experience in an administrative background with excellent organisational skills.
You will also be self-motivated with a good eye for detail and interpersonal skills as effective teamwork is essential.
The ability to work flexibly as part of a team, and to work accurately under pressure to meet strict deadlines, in a performance driven environment is essential.
