We have an exciting opportunity for an individual within a health and social care jointly funded Community Equipment Service, which provides a vital role in supporting the Islands vulnerable community.


The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed to providing good customer service working within our busy Community Equipment Service Team.


The job is part time, and the hours will be provided usually over 3 working days but with some flexibility when required. You will be working within the CES Team supporting the day to day running and operation.


Duties will include:

· Processing referrals and information in a timely and efficient way to coordinate deliveries and collections, ensuring accurate data and information is maintained

· Understanding and following the procedures and processes within the CES team 

· Working in accordance with the Councils performance management framework that expects staff to achieve performance targets for all areas of work and prioritising work activities.

· Providing excellent customer service at all times in line with current Council values, whether in person, by phone or email

. Responding to customer and stakeholder queries either face to face, via phone or email

. Processing referrals to ensure the right equipment is issued at the right time and making best use of resources.

. General reception duties to visitors to the warehouse

. Maintaining ICT systems to ensure records are up to date and accurate.

The successful applicant will be a good communicator, highly motivated, flexible and be a team player with good ICT skills.

PLEASE NOTE: Out of Hours Standby and Call Out

You will be required to take part in the Out of Hours Stand-by Duty Rota as and when requested by management.  Standby and call out duties are paid in accordance with the IWC Terms and Conditions 2012 document.
