Hours: 22.5 per week
Working as part of 'The PA Noticeboard' and PA Market Development Team you'll deliver and promote this vital service connecting a database of Personal Assistants (PA’s) to vulnerable people across the Island, to find the right support for people to be able to live at home and access the community.
Your key duties will be:
• Marketing and recruitment of Personal Assistants through events and social media.
• Supporting new PA’s through this process to obtain a Enhanced DBS check and relevant supporting documents and access to training
• Monitoring of mails boxes and general enquiries that come into the team.
• Data cleansing and reporting.
• Support people to find a PA through the PA Noticeboard platform.
Applicants will need to have:
• Knowledge of The Care Act 2014
• Awareness of why we use Personal Assistants for care delivery.
• Experience resolving customer enquiries.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experienced with Excel and other Office ICT packages.
You will be working with a wide variety of people, all with differing needs so it is vital that you are caring and understanding, mindful of other people’s personal situations. Our Market Development Officer needs to be supportive and empathetic, able to easily adapt to the needs of each service user.
