This is a great opportunity to join the Isle of Wight Council’s Organisational Intelligence team to assist the transformation manager in the delivery of continuous improvement activities within a range of council services. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious person with a passion for project management and with first-class communication skills who can build effective relationships and support lasting change.

 

Key to the work of the team is being able to see the big picture and link projects, services and stakeholders together to ensure true customer focus on the required outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively support and challenge services through change and in the development of end-to-end processes. 

 

You will provide support on matters relating to programme and project management; business intelligence; needs and gap analysis to inform service planning, strategic planning and decision making with regards to the Council’s Corporate Plan objectives and outcomes. You will be required to report on the progress of wider council programmes and projects and assist in the initiation of those projects across the council. You will provide advice, training and support to others to ensure best practice in line with the council’s Project Management Framework. You will have proven experience of managing projects using a recognised framework.

 

The role is agile in nature and will require both remote working and a face-to-face presence here on the Isle of Wight. We are happy to discuss the logistics of this role at interview.
