ASSISTANT SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER / OFFICE MANAGER

Permanent Contract Starting 2nd January 2024.

Salary: Hay Grade 7A; FTE £26,421; Actual salary: £22,810

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Office Manager to work in a busy school office and provide support to School Business Manager.

 

This role will develop over time, as part of our succession planning, and the intended progression for this role would be to take on the role of School Business Manager (Hay Grade 9 FTE £32,077), this will be dependent on when the role becomes vacant.

 

We are looking for someone who is committed, self-motivated and flexible; and can work collaboratively as part of a team.

 

Experience of working within an education environment is desirable.

This role falls within the strategic partnership between the Isle of Wight Council and Hampshire County Council. The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children’s Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children’s services.
