We are currently seeking additional Teaching Assistants to join the team at Hunnyhill Primary School. You will support the teaching and learning of pupils across the whole school to help them meet their potential, giving you the opportunity of achieving great job satisfaction in an inclusive, positive learning environment.
You will be patient and reliable, be able to work well in a team which works proactively to meet each pupil’s needs, and have experience of working with children in a Primary school setting. To support this, the ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of teaching and behaviour strategies and you will have previous experience of working with pupils with SEN or SEMH, and ideally hold a TA level 2 or 3 qualification.

This role falls within the strategic partnership between the Isle of Wight Council and Hampshire County Council. The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children’s Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children’s services.
