Post 1. TEACHING ASSISTANT A (LEVEL 3) Temporary maternity cover contract
TA3 Salary: Grade 7A-E £19063 - £20,139 per annum (£24,496- £25,878 FTE)
Commencing from 1st November 2023 until 31st July 2023
We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work for 5 days per week, term time plus development days from 1st October 2022 until 31st March 2023 to cover a member of staff on maternity. Hours to be worked 8.30-4.30pm on Mondays, Wednesday 8.30-4pm, 8.30-3 pm all other days.

This role falls within the strategic partnership between the Isle of Wight Council and Hampshire County Council. The employer will be the Isle of Wight Council and employment is on Isle of Wight terms and conditions. Hampshire County Council has delivered, on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council, all of its children’s services functions and will continue to do so until 2023. The original five-year partnership arrangement under direction of the Secretary of State finished in 2018 but has been extended voluntarily by both local authorities for a further five years.
The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children’s Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children’s services.
