The Isle of Wight Council Bedded Reablement service is looking for a dynamic and committed Domestic Assistant to support the cleanliness and hygiene within the Housekeeping team.
Located in Freshwater, The Goulding’s Resource Centre is a 20-minute scenic drive from Newport and situated directly on a main bus route. There you will be to helping to maintain the high standards of cleanliness of the Centre and its clients.
We are looking to appoint an individual with excellent listening and observational skills. It would be helpful, but not necessary to have previous experience in the domestic service. You will be expected to hold or undertake infection prevention and control training as well as COSHH.
You will have a passion for your vocation and people as well as the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment. You will be supported with full training, regular structured supervision, and Development Opportunities.

PLEASE NOTE: Out of Hours Standby and Call Out
You will be required to take part in the Out of Hours Stand-by Duty Rota as and when requested by management. Standby and call out duties are paid in accordance with the IWC Terms and Conditions 2012 document.
