We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our highly motivated team as a Response Coordinator, delivering a high standard of support to clients within the community. You will be responding and liaising with the people we support, our community support staff and other professionals, to plan the weekly shifts for staff to accommodate current and new people using our service. You will need to have a range of IT skills and a willingness to be flexible. 

Various duties include:

 
· Plan and implement the work schedule of a large number of community support workers who visit the people we support in their own homes.

· Providing full administrative service within the office, dealing with telephone calls from a range of people and ensuring that good communication is applied within the service for the benefit of the people we support.

· The use of electronic rostering or Excel Spreadsheets to ensure that every person we support has the correct level of support that has been prescribed.

· To undertake direct care duties to the people we support, as required.

· Give and receive feedback from and to a wide range of people, to ensure good outcomes for the people we support.

· To ensure that the service is fully utilised, and all referrals are dealt with in a timely and professional way, maximising capacity and supporting as many people as possible in a safe and effective way.

Work as part of a team, responding effectively to the needs of the service and ensuring good outcomes for the people we support.

Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy as well as a full UK driving licence and own Vehicle is essential.

Business use car insurance will be a required as your personal vehicle will be used in connection with your employment, when a pool car is unavailable.

PLEASE NOTE: Out of Hours Standby and Call Out

You will be required to take part in the Out of Hours Stand-by Duty Rota as and when requested by management.  Standby and call out duties are paid in accordance with the IWC Terms and Conditions 2012 document.
