Grade 6, £13.47 per hour. This role currently offers a market supplement taking the hourly rate to £17.30 per hour

Varied hours per week on a casual basis

1Leisure are recruiting to their bank of casual staff at both Medina & The Heights Leisure Centres for our busy Group Instructor Team. We would like Candidates that are able to bring new fitness classes to our centres along with the ability to cover holiday and staff absences for our current fitness class programme. Candidates need to be flexible around working hours which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. The availability of hours cannot be guaranteed, and candidates may not be contacted immediately.

You will need to demonstrate good communications and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

The role requires a current qualification in either, exercise to music, Aquafit or any class specific qualification like Yoga or Pilates. Please see the Job Summary which details the essential qualifications and/or experience required for the role.

We are looking for staff who can add to our current team who have a confident and outgoing personality, ideally with experience of working in a leisure environment.


Please note: This role currently offers a market supplement taking the hourly rate to £19.11 per hour - this is reviewed annually
