Here in the Isle of Wight Councils legal service we are looking for a new colleague to join us to lead our friendly and professional procurement team supporting a wide range of council departments.
You will have a proven track history of being a supportive leader and with over 100 projects currently underway across the team, a broad knowledge of public authority procurement.
Having a sound working understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 is a must.
We are a unitary authority so it would be desirable to have experience in this specific area of Local Government as would being MCIPS Registered.
Our now embedded flexible working practice is available and necessary equipment will be provided to enable our future colleague to work in a hybrid manner.
There will be a small portfolio of projects to manage and complete but also to assist ensure we deliver our exciting procurement strategy and plan for future changes.
