Short Breaks Providers

Service Description: Short Breaks on the Isle of Wight feel all children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs have the right to given fair access to opportunites that help them to grow and develop. To support achieving this, Short Breaks have provided a range of fun, enjoyable and safe activity provisions to support children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs participating in activities which are meaningful to them.

This approach has enabled Short Breaks to work with a range of activity providers to create and offer access to a range of universal, targeted and specialist services through consulting parents/carers, activity providers and children and young people within the development of the Short Breaks service.
