Filming on the Isle of Wight

We welcome film or TV companies on the Isle of Wight and if we can help you during any filming requirements we will.

Not all public-access land on the Isle of Wight is council-owned and we would ask that you get in touch with us prior to any filming to check you have the relevant permissions. We will also require a copy of your public liability insurance.

Filmwight

Filmwight is the Isle of Wight’s Official Film Office and is operated with the endorsement of Isle of Wight Council, with assistance from Arts Council England, Solent LEP and our Island businesses. 

The team are experienced, pragmatic and dedicated to making the Island a place where film, TV and photographic projects take place easily and efficiently.
