Our library collections

This service is part of our development to improve our website and can now be found on our new beta website.

As well as an island-wide collection of general interest books, the Library Service also offers several specialist collections. The School Library Service is a subscription service available to island primary schools. Other specialist collections, such as the Music, Maritime and Local Studies collections, are available to anyone. In addition, libraries offer a range of learning opportunities and courses, and stock "Reading Well" collections to help people cope with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
