Homes in Multiple Occupancy - Register

Also known as: HMO Licensing, Multiple Occupancy

Service Description: The Landlord or person having control of or managing certain homes in multiple occupancy (HMO) must apply to licence the premises with the local authority. The HMO must have 5 or more occupants, sharing at least one amenity.
*The number of storeys of the building used to be relevant but doesn't matter any more- i.e. a single storey HMO might need a licence.
