Service Description: Health and Safety is about preventing people from being harmed or becoming ill at work by ensuring that the right precautions are in place and providing a satisfactory working environment.

Environmental Health (IOW Council) cover offices, shops, hotels and catering, and leisure activities. Other premises are covered by the Health and Safety Executive (see weblink below).
