School Funding

Service Description: Every year the council has to produce and publish information about funding for schools. We publish information on Section 251 Expenditure Statements and the scheme for financing schools which sets out the financial relationship between the authority and the maintained schools which it funds. Information is also provided on how the local authority (LA) maintains a Schools Forum to represent its schools' views on matters relating to the total Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG). We regularly post information on when the Schools Forum meetings are being held and provide the minutes form the meetings online, within these web pages.
