Answer: There are no refreshment facilities at Newport Roman Villa. The site is just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Newport where there are numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Question: Does Newport Roman Villa have car parking facilities?

Answer: There is no car park at Newport Roman Villa. However, there are no parking restrictions on Cypress road and drivers will usually be able to find parking in this or one of the adjacent residential roads. Alternatively there is a Pay & Display car park on Medina Avenue (less than 5 mins walk) or several other car park options a short walk away in central Newport.

Answer: Newport Roman Villa is partially accessible to wheelchair users. Most of the site can be accessed, including the Roman Garden, bath suite, and exhibition of artefacts. Unfortunately we do not have an accessible toilet on site.

Answer: Newport Roman Villa welcomes school groups. We can provide a guided tour and practical activities in the education room. Students can make mosaics, try on Roman clothes, weave hurdles and investigate our Roman kitchen. For bookings and further information please phone 01983 823433.
